Data Deletion Instructions

You own your data. This page explains exactly what we hold, how to ask us to delete it, and how long the process takes.

What data we hold

When you use the Crave App, we may store the following information associated with your account:

• Profile information (name, email, phone number, profile photo)
• Authentication identifiers from third-party logins (Facebook, Google, Apple)
• Content you create — posts, moments, photos and comments
• Dining preferences, saved venues, and activity history
• Location data, only where you have explicitly granted permission
• Device and usage diagnostics required for app functionality

How to request deletion

Send an email to support@cravenow.app from the address associated with your Crave account. Please include:

• Subject line: Data Deletion Request
• Your full name as it appears on your Crave profile
• The email or phone number linked to your account

We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What happens after you request deletion

• Within 7 daysWe acknowledge your request by email
• Within 30 daysAccount, profile, content, and authentication tokens removed from our active systems
• Within 90 daysEncrypted backups containing your data are purged on rotation

Some information may be retained for a limited time where required by law (for example, to comply with tax, fraud, or security obligations). In those cases, we keep only what is strictly necessary and delete it as soon as the legal basis expires.
